Just thought I'd post a quick warning after I got an SPAM email that seemed to indicate that the .CA (Canadian) domain name was available to all and sundry.

If you wish to register a Canadian domain name you MUST fulfill a number of requirements...

Anyway, reported the spammer, etc... but figured someone might fall foul of it because the dipstick who sent them all out didn't even bother to check the country specific tags on the email list they were sending... Doh!

.ca domain requirements were reduced this year, but not removed.

Any good registration process will at least verify that you meet one of the requirements for .ca domains...
