basically I need the email from one domain that is being redirected to another domain to be redirected as well. i know with raq4s you can just add it in the gui, this feature isnt on the raq3s.
i have: domain1.net > domain1.com
i need: email@domain1.net > email@domain1.com
thanks

depending on how you set it up, emailed addresses to someone may be deleivered to the box someone without you having to do anything. You should test this, but when I had a RaQ, I could send email to someone@anydomain.com and as long as the 'anydomain' didn't have a catch-all, mail was delivered properly.

This is what I do to keep me from checking multiple email accounts on my server. So I have emails from quite a few different sites and I make the all point to 1 mailbox.
#1 Set up a default user on the site in question.
#2 configure the email setting for the user, in the email aliases you would type in @domain1.net or @www.domain1.net depending how you have set up your MX records. This has created a " Catch-All " account. So any email sent to domain1.net will be caught.
#3 Above the email aliases type in the the mailbox you want it sent to at domain1.com.
Hope this helps, reason why I use this is because I cant have myname@domain1.com & myname@domain1.net. The server won't allow me to have duplicate names even though they are on separate sites. There is a way around that......I just havn't found out how yet.

regarding the recent post about same names on the server,
just use the same alias
in other words, many of my clients want "sales" or "info"
since the raq won't let more than one user have that exact name, fred.com uses fredsales and then selects the alias "sales" so that anything addressed to sales will go to fredsales account.

anyone else, none of these have really answered my question. domain1.net isnt a site being hosted its just a redirect/forward to domain1.com. i would like the emails of both domains to go to the users on domain1.com, thanks in advance.

Just guessing, but would a MX record pointing the second domain to the first work?

Post exactly how you have set these domains up. As I said, if you do it properly, it won't matter if you send the email to bob@domain1.net or bob.domain1.com, it will end up in the bob pop box.
