In addition to being a host I am a director of a seperate organization. (Just to avoid confusion about this post vs. my others)
The organization's web site is 4 years old and was written in php3 by a long-gone programmer.
Services are required on a "per job" basis to perform much needed updates to this site. The main qualification is comprehensive experience in php-MySql since the site will need extensive changes to the original code. There are requirements for additional functionality (basically after 4 years a "makeover) and since my company now hosts the site and are about to offer php 5 it also must be examined to be sure there are no compatibility issues when running on php5. Performance could probably be improved by utilizing Zend optimizer which was either not around or the original host did not have. Other work will be needed such installation of upgrade UBB threads (the new php5 compatible version) etc.

MUST be experienced and located in the USA. Able to communicate by phone (no "messengers")
This is a mission critical site that must not suffer downtime. After immediate needs are met future work would come on an "as needed basis". No college students or people looking to "build a portfolio". Don't waste my time or yours. Must have been doing php since 3 was the "cutting edge" and understand php5, Optimizer, custom back-end functions etc.
