My two hosts that I currently use, both have very bad downtime, so I guess the next step is to go dedicated, I'm pretty sure that I would have blown the 600 gig limit and I went up to 150 gig before my other host went under.

So I need a new server and am considering these options.
Unfortunately I dont have $200 - $300 to get a top notch stable server, so this is what I'm left with.

I'm leaning towards Oktagone but HostNetworks is tempting.
Which would you choose or which would you dismiss?

I would go with TMS (Tailored Servers). TMS has a great reputation around here, and is in a wonderful data center.

Jose from TMS is a regular on the forum here as well.

Let me just clarify some things you've posted: To my knowledge, NEO doesn't resell for Ezzi - Their servers are located in ThePlanet, and they're resellers for ServerMartix. The ServerIntelligence plan you've posted is located at Ezzi, and not BurstNET. The ServerForce plan you've listed is an Ezzi server, not a plan at ThePlanet. All of your Savvis servers are actually provided by LayeredTech.com - If you don't need a managed or semi-managed server, I'd recommend buying directly through LayeredTech.

Hmmm, I would like to know that too. My budget is $100 too if I go dedicated. :)

With all due respect, the thread starter is asking for feedback on the ones he listed, not asking for other options.

I am not the first to notice that nearly all of your posts are recommending the same host with nothing to back it up. It is looking very suspicious to many.

Those are all excellent prices for what you're getting. If I were the one deciding, I'd look at the reputations and go with the one that has a solid track record (longer is better) of keeping their promises. For most applications, the $50 or even $100 difference in price between dedicated servers will be negligible.

You will want some assurance the server won't get unplugged by the colo provider for the company managing the servers and the best way to get that is good ol' due diligence (research) on the company. Then start looking at prices when you've found several companies worth considering.

After reading the thread on ezzi overselling, im getting cold feet, as my site will be a high bandwidth one,
and if I get d/c and have to change it will be pointless.

So I'll omit Ezzi from the equation
and Savvis servers only have a 10 mbit port
Which is 25kybtes a second.
So say you resell and you have 50 users and a few of your clients have 50 users added up, and they are on at the same time, then the max your users would be able to download is at around 200-250kybtes a sec, maybe less depending on how busy their sites are.

That really only leaves the Planet
With 100mbit upload port
1TB of bandwidth

Or will the planet d/c you from using too much bandwidth aswell?
So far it looks like they are my best bet.

So far it looks like they are my best bet. As far as I know, all of the Savvis servers listed (through LayeredTech) have an option to upgrade to a 100Mbps port for an extra $10/month - Contact the companies if they don't list that outright, as LayeredTech has that option.
