Hi Everyone. I have a read a lot in past threads abount Interserver.net. I have been with them for over a year, and have made it though all the outages and poor service.

THey're price is reasonable, and the plans are amazing. Multiple hosts on one account, unlimited mail, ftp, subdomains, etc.

However, the lack of service, and the fact I cannot get in touch with them via phone or email reliably, I have to face facts and move on.

I am not trying to start a flame war, and please don't respond asking for facts about my time with Interserver. Reading previous posts from others will pretty much cover my tale.

My question is: can anyone please recommend a good, stable, friendly, open, Linux/*nix/Sun host with similar features as Interserver.net? If they cost a little bit more I won't be too upset. Thanks in Advance!

They have plenty to answer phones, let me know what time you are calling.

I called this morning around 9:00.

(877) 566-8398 Is not available in Canada.
(973) 815-1899 Is "Out Of Service"

I found this number via netsol.com:
201-242-9173 And got the Phone Company's Call Answer Service, and the prompt was "Interserver Matthew". I left a message.

Still no word via email on my ticket, although I was assured last week that all service issues were resolved in 24 hours max.

Argh. I feel like a battered wife - I just keep commin' back for more. lol

I'll give them a call at that _new_ number tomorrow, see what happens. If not, I'm just gonna move everything to gearhost.com - They seem pretty cool. I opened an account today just to try it out. the Icontrol panel is only 70% working though

I called that number you gave me and let it ring for 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Apparently there was no one available at 8:55am to answer at the 24/7 hotline.

Really ? I looked at the call logs and didn`t see no call from 7 - 9:30 am. SO my advice would be try again, and double check the number.

I called again later on, and spoke with an actual human. He said he would leave a message for Mike, who is coming in at 4:00, regarding my ticket.

I thought I would post this incase anyone was thinking of Interserver.net

I never received a response from anyone at Interserver regarding my issue, but once I started cancelling accounts they did so swiftly and with out problems.

I moved elsewhere and started my own little thing - but I would have stuck with them if they had even emailed me back and said they they were looking into my problem...
