Dear Merchant,
The following comment was added by the 2CheckOut Team,
Dear Vendor,
We wish to thank you for selecting 2Checkout.com, Inc. (2CO) as the
reseller of your products. Your business has been appreciated.
However,
following risk utilization analysis it has been determined that we can no
longer support the products you are providing. This decision is
reinforced by the amount of fraud and/or customer service issues
experienced by 2CO due to our relationship with your business.
This letter serves as your two (2) week notice of our intent to suspend
service to your company. Please begin your search for a new service
provider as soon as possible in order to minimize any transitional
problems.Again, at the end of this two-week period, your account will be
suspended and any pending sales will be verified for receipt of the
product before the funds awaiting disbursal will be released. This can
take up to sixty (60) days. Any additional funds on reserve will be
held for the stated 90-day period to ensure that adequate funds are held
on account to offset any possible refunds or charge-back activity.
We regret any inconvenience that this may cause and certainly wish you
business success.
Regards,
2checkout.com, Inc.

What part of the world are you in? If you are in the United States & averaging about $1,000 a month, a merchant account would probably be more beneficial to you.

Plus is it the products you are selling or the chargeback problem?

That is not very professional from 2Checkout to kick your *** just because you are causing them some work. You will have a lot of problems getting your customers to pay via another payment processor. I really wish you the best of luck.

It sounds like your 2CO account was shut down because of too many chargebacks. Basically, all merchant accounts have a limit on the number and amount of chargebacks on a given account. Once they shut you down, it is pretty much impossible to get the account back. You might want to get a merchant account elsewhere.

That is crap shutting an account down because you are too lazy to process fraudulent orders. Especially because its just a bit of work for them but the guy with this account can basically shut down his business and shoot himself because most of his customers will not pay through another provider. If he sends them an email they will think its fraud or spam and ignore it and he will loose a lot of customers.

Same goes for datacenters shutting down servers with shared accounts when one of the users on the server has warez or sends spam. It is not much work for the datacenter to just remove a single account but shutting down a whole server might destroy a business and maybe even a life if the owner of that business makes a living of the server. You lose your business and everything that is valuable just because some company is lazy and only thinks of themselves.

Why not very professional? This guy had a high chargeback rate. 2CO must be very carefully monitoring their chargeback rates, so they do not get closed by VISA. This is for the protection of all people using 2CO as their processor.

TO Yassi:

chargeback percentages are at 14.62% because I did
not accept any yearly payment from month 7 of this year( because all my
charge backs were from yearly payments,, 2 of them was $540 USD !! )
this better that 2co protect us from fruad orders..all of my charge backs were from fruad orders ...

Well...14.62% is really extremely much ! I have had around 2000 payments on Paypal and only 3 fraud-chargebacks. That's 0.15%

We hate fraud orders and chargebacks, jpayam I may help you more personally about this. I wish you best of luck anyways, and it really seems that you need to take action fast.

A serious problem that you're in UAE and you're expecting this sales volume per month.

Try to consider iKobo, but they don't allow recurring bills, and don't process over $1000 per month, another serious problem but you can fax and send your identity documents to remove these problems. by considering ikobo, you'll benefit the support of UAE as available country for business. but you'll lose some clients due to accepting only VISA/MC purchases and high risk on card processing/verification.

Couldn't help any further, just best of luck friend!

I'd suggest you just get a merchant account with CDG Commerce. It's only about $25/mo to use them. I am a customer myself, and am loving there services.

TheNetWay, he's in UAE, I suppose a CDGcommerce merchant would need a U.S. Bank Account.

They do also accept customers from other countries. Contact their support and ask them.

Have a look at Worldpay.com as well.
