I'm trying to shut down my zone alarm firewall on my pc but it tells me I don't have enough priviledges. I'm the Administrator damn it!

Could a hacker have done something to it? or is there something about Zone Alarm that I don't know about?

What user name are you using when you logon to your PC? The part after you hit CONTROL-ALT-DELETE?

If it is not administrator you need to ensure that the name you are using has admin rights.
