what is

1mbit per month
10mbit
100mbit per month
unmetered ??

i mean what is that mean in the same as 1000gb data transfer per month ???

why is it so expensive that add 10mbit/sec will charge like $500us dollars
more in addition to basic hosting fees ??

I think you are refering to 2 different things.

One is the total allocation , which is eg. 100 GB per month , or 10 GB per month. The other one is the transfer rate i.e. 10Mbit/second.

When they say 10 Mbit/sec , it doesnt say how many MB or GB you can transfer. When they say unmetered , and you get 10Mbits/sec , this allows you to transfer unlimited amount of data per month. that is why it is expensive.

I was told by a member here, that 1Mbit/sec can be optimized to somewhere around 350 GB per month, depending on the websites usage

10mbit/sec is a good connection speed, if you need that connection speed then you'd probably be using a lot of bandwidth.
