I'm planning to rent A web server. I'm looking to get it from Verio.com so do you advise me to go ahead with verio and whats the best datacenters that i can rent server from ???

And please where can i find list of datacenters ...

Onething else I want the server to be unmanaged. So, how to find someone to manage it. And how much does it will cost?

We had an NT shared hosting with Verio once (located in Florida). Their networks were affected by all major internet virus/worm outbreaks. We lose emails in all those events. Their customer service were more or less non-existent / completely robotic and provided not much information in any of the mentioned events.

Moving from Verio was the best thing we did - since then, we have had no problems: no email loss, not network connectivity problems, etc.

Finding an unmanaged Red Hat server shouldn't be difficult at all. Have you checked out Host Quote yet?

Finding someone to manage it for you shouldn't be too difficult either. For starters, check out Rack911.com and Geeks4Help.com.

Just out of intrest, why are you after an un-managed server, only to later on get a management service...?

Maybe it's because you would prefer someone else to manage it, but i think it will be more expensive...

With management you can still manage the server yourself, you just ask the management staff to help when you get stuck.

Typically an unmanaged server coupled with a sysadmin is cheaper than a full-on managed server.
