Need help from someone with a lot of brains, well some knolage at least :-)
Well here is the problem : I mucked the server up last time I tried to install the chillisoft spice pack ! (Wasn't funny as we had to move to a new server and set all the sites up again and deal with alot of angry customers).
Now, I've been thinking ...
Perl uses sendmail
The php mail function uses sendmail
So why can't asp use sendmail ?
Please could someone let me know if somehow it is possible to use sendmail with asp. I know normaly you can't but there must be a way !!!!
Please also take into account when you reply that I don't know much about asp,

Ditto here, or does anyone have info on how to install (and get) the supposed free spicerack/asp 3.6.2 upgrade to a RaQ4? I have a customer clamoring for the cdonts (??) ability to send mail which supposedly spicerack gives.

Follow the link on this page for the free upgrade to chilisoft version 3.6 including the spicepack. http://www.chilisoft.com/chiliasp/cobalt.asp
It's a 40 MB .pkg and takes some time to install
On the form they ask you some questions you don't have answers to like the serialnumber of the raq. Just fill in some numbers.
Sorry hoot, I don't know how to do it without the spicepack component

That's the thing when I follow the link I don't get a registration page I get more sales hype and nothing about cobalt packages. Click the download now link to see what I mean.

:confused: That is weird. You are right. The download for the Cube works, the download for the XTR works but the download for the normal Raq takes you to the wrong place.
Well, it was there on december 29th when I downloaded and installed it on 2 servers on request of a client who was interested in the spicepack components.
Runs fine with the only problem I encountered being that on both servers on december 31st at midnight asp shut down. Halted. Stopped ... After I found out and restarted it, it has been running without problems.
Maybe they took the download down because there was an error in the pkg? (sure hope not)
Try emailing chilisoft and ask them.

Did you have to upgrade to Apache 1.3.20 for it to work?
