Just a guess... If so: Hold ALT + V then hit X then hit M fweikeong 11-19-2000, 01:24 AM Correction :- Hold ALT + V then hit N then hit M ;) Bogdan 11-19-2000, 02:06 AM Originally posted by mkaufman Is the font changed on the boards or is it just IE messing up again? :) Same thing happened to mine. :) Weird... I just thought that I messed it up, yet, again. mkaufman 11-19-2000, 09:04 AM Weird! :D Broadreach 11-19-2000, 01:18 PM Did you figure out what you did wrong? etLux 11-19-2000, 11:57 PM From the IE menu: View | Text Size Medium is the default. mkaufman 11-20-2000, 07:39 AM Yea.... It changed to "Smaller" though by itself! Even to Bogdan.. etLux 11-20-2000, 01:18 PM Originally posted by mkaufman Yea.... It changed to "Smaller" though by itself! Even to Bogdan.. That's interesting... I've never seen it happen. Far as I know, a website can't change the default text size of the browser itself. Can you outline exactly how it occurred? mkaufman 11-20-2000, 04:58 PM Just came to WHT one day and it was like that. Chicken 11-20-2000, 08:54 PM Do you have a scrolling wheel mouse? CTRL + ALT + SCROLL (makes text size larger/smaller) CTRL + SHIFT + SCROLL (acts like your forward/back browser buttons) Not that this is what caused it, could have been a mistaken quick key press, but I know this freaked me out once. Allyn 11-21-2000, 01:10 AM I remember the first time I accidentally increased the font size in IE. I think I had to have my dad come and fix it. etLux 11-21-2000, 01:22 AM Me too. My Dad's 97, and he really gets tee'd when I keep asking him how to use the browser... mkaufman 11-21-2000, 07:30 AM Yeah I have a scrolling mouse..maybe that was it! But so weird that it happened to Bogdan at the same time :) Chicken 11-21-2000, 11:06 AM doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo (That is a theme from a show, that if anyone gets it, I'll be amazed. I tried at least...) akashik 11-23-2000, 01:45 PM haha, easy.... Twilight Zone. Greg Moore Chicken 11-23-2000, 04:55 PM DING DING DING Greg is old enough to remember, congrats! :) mkaufman 11-23-2000, 05:05 PM This went off topic..lol etLux 11-23-2000, 06:39 PM mkaufman, I disagree. The parallels between browser technology and "The Twilight Zone" grow more striking with each new version... lol. Chicken 11-23-2000, 07:09 PM I agree with etLux's disagreement. etLux 11-23-2000, 09:55 PM And I find Chicken's agreement with my disagreement most agreeable. Allyn 11-23-2000, 11:29 PM Originally posted by etLux And I find Chicken's agreement with my disagreement most agreeable. I find that your agreement with Chicken's agreement...ah, forget it, I'll just get confused. etLux 11-24-2000, 01:56 AM And, in another cosmic evidence of the cyclicity of all things, this thread has come back to... Huh? Chicken 11-24-2000, 09:49 AM See how everything works out? You just can't say we veer off topic. :) etLux 11-24-2000, 03:33 PM Originally posted by Chicken You just can't say we veer off topic. :) I'd be the last one to say we ever, ever, ever "veer" off target; as that implies lack of intention. It's more like the behavior of a juggernaut, insistent and purposefully attempting to bludgeon its way into the irrelevant and the unrelated. Never do anything half-way. |
