XO decided after they had brought us a contract, and we signed it, that they didn;t want the business. Basically, the VP OPerations was not happy with the rate/terms that the VP Sales had agreed to so they decided not to honor the agreement.

With business practices like that, it is no wonder they are unlikely to make it after all.

GIG coming up from TW on 1/25 and a GIG to Verio coming up early Feb. Plus, we will be putting the Cogent back into service after LuxN completes their evaluation of our siutation. We had a problem with Cogent's Cisco talking to TW's Luxn talking to our Juniper router.

RS probably negotioated (*sp?) a deal with Time Warner and Verio, so that they could offer them a GiGE connection...

I've also heard of sprint, and qwest gig-e. Level3, Global Crossing provide Gig-E too. In fact most are starting to offer it though it may not be a cogents pricing. ( probably far from it. )

Well we're still looking for another connection provider ...
