has anybody succeeded in establishing an SSL connection from a webspace on successfulhosting.com?

curl => not installed, they won't support it :(
lynx => installed but don't support SSL :(
Perl LWP => installed but don't support SSL :(

Can anybody tell me it their "eCommerce" package can be used for eCommerce at all? If I want to set up a credit card gateway to authorize.net or another cc-processing company, I will need the ability to call a http:// webpage from my server.

Any hints?
