I just finished moving about 170 sites from a RaQ 4 to another RaQ 4 in a different data center. I think everything is fully functional with the exception of email.

I cannot send email to my own domain outside the box! This is the case:

We have a few servers:

serverx.pronicsolutions.com
serverx.pronicsolutions.com
and so on

We can't send any messages to something@pronicsolutions.com from this box. It will just give us an error, furthermore all scripts give errors when the recipient is set to something@pronicsolutions.com. I just refuses to send mail to pronicsolutions.com. It wants to send mail to the localhost "something@serverx.pronicsolutions.com", but we can't do that because our primary MX record points to another box.

This box has an account called serverx@pronicsolutions.com, but that shouldn't make any difference, I left the "mail server alias" blank.

Your help or thoughts are always appreciated.

Never mind. Stupid me :)

I forgot to eliminate "pronicsolutions.com" from the /etc/mail/local-host-names file.
