I have a box w/t 2 xeons, 2 scsi 80 (raid 1), plesk unloaded, 2GB ram
System resources says 60% of ram being used....I have nothing config'd on box...what could be hogging all the ram

At the command line, type
free
and see how much RAM is being used for buffering and caching. Linux loves to cache files in memeory and I love that it does so too, good for shared hosting because lots of static web content can be cached in memory.

Do you the ram was from installs and it hasnt dumped...???

sounds like youve got a pretty slick system there son, ummm what id go and try doing is rebooting ONLY IF you notice system performance decredation/degrading as freakysid mentioned linux DOES love caching

you guys nailed it..Linux is caching 1.2 gigs.....
