Does the link help http://www.lpanel.net/ awhost 09-30-2004, 12:14 PM I've never been able to see the demo on IE6.0 Windows XP with all updates applied. So I figured my customers would also have difficulty and spent no more time on it. I recommend DRAMS. Thanks, Neofree Rich 09-30-2004, 07:24 PM I use LPANEL. Let me give you the whole truth in a really brief statement: Lpanel is a remarkable piece of software that will eventually destroy ModernBill and WHMAutopilot - HOWEVER - It still lacks some key features many people REQUIRE, AND the support for it is,well, not GREAT, and not POOR. Their forum is the only way to get some decent support. They don't respond to tickets very quickly, some people go a week or so without getting a reply to a ticket. Lpanel focuses more on dishing out new releases to fix bugs and implement new things, than to address customer concerns. This is in my opinion, the best way to go though, because while they do review customer tickets, the bugs people are bringing to their attention are usually fixed in the next release anyway. I'd rather they work on releasing an awesome software QUICKER, than spending all their time answering 5,000 tickets with "Please wait patiently for the next release, we will fix this minor bug just as SOON as we answer all these 5,000 tickets". They just get onto fixing and improving, which is great. Though of course, like I said, the support ISN'T great, and you, me, everyone else we all like a lot of support when we are spending decent money on a program. FYI: I have a license, the monthly license at $20/mo. I don't actually have any customers in it, heh, I've been using it for a month or two, I actually haven't figured a way to import just one resellers worth of accounts into it, without importing all accounts on the server. But when I do, I will definately start using it some more. The greats: Best interface you will ever see. Quickest and Easiest Install process on the planet. Easier to use than competitor products, 90% of their features. The not so greats: Lacks support at times Theres my 2cents and I hope this helps :-) NodePlex 10-02-2004, 11:11 AM I have to agree that Lpanel looks impressive. I have installed the 30 day trial and I am impressed enough that I may no longer be torn between modernbill and WHMAP, Lpanel may just be the way I go. Again, so far I have been VERY impressed with the upfront things I have encountered so far. The script can even be installed remotely from their site in the members area ! I never even had to log into my site ! And upgrading took about 30 seconds. kickmybutt 10-02-2004, 10:11 PM I have been using Lpanel for several months. Very good product and their development team i shard at work. (Switched from AutoPilot to Lpanel) If they sold stock, I would buy as much as I could ;) I think they are giving some of the older, well known companies a run for their money. |
