View Full Version : How many domains do you own?

How many domains do you currently own? I own around 27 or so domains currently. I'm fixing to buy another one in about a day from now. I don't know if WHT will allow us to list them all as they may consider advertising, but if a community leader or mod gives us permission i'll list mine and you list yours. :P

I sold them all! :D
I got only about half a dozen now...

EDIT: I just get an email, before even finishing this reply that gives me a list of good expired domains. I'm think of getting one now. ugh.

Am I missing something or did you forget 11-14 and 21-24? because I have between 11-14, and that isn't an option.

vito

84 and counting. Needless to say, the majority are either inactive or point to my active domains.

It's a sickness, I tell ya...

That's true. :)
It's good from time to time to make a revision.
Just now I found I have 5-6 domains which I don't know
why exactly I have registered???

amish_geek
09-24-2004, 03:55 PM
I have 86 domains in my godaddy account, 3-4 in my enom account.

I asked the mods if I could start a thread like this in the past, where people just list their domains that they own. But the idea was put down because it would become a spamfest for people who would use it as an advertising opportunity.

I've been thinking about putting a list on my website...

I think I messed up Hosemeyer. It seemed right in my head, but sometimes i forget to add it.

Don't register a 3 letter dictionary .net word, WW.

Instead, PM me with it so I can register it. :D

Thats just it, I wasnt thinking stright Vito! I need help!
I was so happy I got rid of most of my domains, and now this came along.

I can tell right from wrong anymore!
Maybe I need to get a domain like: domainaholics.com, and start a support group for people like me. Its a good domain, right? RIGHT? :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Because.... I have a problem.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I had about 60 domains all of which I got in the span of one month. ugh.

Its actually okay since I sold them all (more or less) and its a handy little profit, but in reality it was not worth the time and I got addicted to registering domains.

So I'm posting in this thread, how I'm happy that I got rid of them and I get a newsletter I signed-up for that gives you a list of good and available domains.

I scan thru it by instinct and see: nap.net

Good me: "Eugene, NO. NO NO NO NO NO. Do NOT register it."
Evil (usual) me: "Are you an idiot? its a dictionary, 3 letter domain, GRAB IT NOW, GRAB IT NOW!"

Then for a few minutes this is going simultaneously in my head: "NO NO NO" "GRAB IT NOW"

I finally realize I am in fact an idiot and rush over to namecheaps website only to see that it has already been taken.

Now I feel an irresistible urge to get a domain or seven.
DAMN THE LONG PAST INTERNET BOOM, DAMN IT TO HELL!

:bawling:

Eugene, you are clearly confused and bewildered and flustered and disoriented and well, brain dead.

The next time you come across a 3 letter domain, email me, PM me, call me, IM me, use mental telepathy, whatever method required.

OK???

Pinky was distracting me because he decided to act like a rebellious teenager and do completely the opposite of what I expect from him. He is not screaming at me that he wants to signup for ballet lessons and keeps slamming the door to his room.

In reality, I probably would not have been able to get the domain in time anyway as that email is sent out to a lot of other people... but next time, nevermind the long-distance charges I will call you. You have been warned. :P

It'll be (in this case) the "Prime Value Domain Watch List" from the WeHaveThem Network. Respectively. ;)

What would nap.net be worth anyway?

vito

Considerably more than reg fee.

Registering domains is like eating peanuts -- it's addictive as heck, and you can never stop at just one :(

Be careful in your questions, thats how I got addicted.
When I learned the value of 3 lettered .com domains I set upon a search for one. It was a false quest of course, since they are all long gone.

.nets, 3 lettered ones are getting less and less common now as well. DICTIONARY words that are 3 letters are worth quite a bundle.

Nap.net - nap as in sleeping. If you are (ironically) anything like me, you have sleeping issues and see pink elephants at 4:18 AM. There are pills, there are doctors... there is a market.

It could be other things as well.

I'm a fan of domains you can have fun with. Like the site yourmom.com, I have an email address there throwing_stones@yourmom.com

Other domains that you can have fun with the subdomains are fun as well. I have the domain isahoser.com, and I need to re-create my script that generated a custom page for things like aaron.abramson.isahoser.com and it would insert the subdomain into the page.

Pheaton
09-24-2004, 06:12 PM
I own 12 (apart from company domains), BUT..... they are all developed. :)

I can't bring myself to buy a domain unless i finish my other projects first, unless of course the domain is very good (such as nap.net ;))

Own about a dozen, of which 4-5 having active sites.

Wait, I forget a dozen .info free domains that I registered last month. Just wondering, what to do with them now.

So total I would be having about two dozen.
