Greetings!

I would like our company to have an alternative payment processor that likewise processes online checks. Could you give some background on how online checking work? Does it only apply to U.S. clients?

We are contented with what we have right now (Clickbank) which can process various credit cards. What we want is an alternative that do online checking too. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

http://www.revecom.com - both CC and online checks (Using them now)
http://www.paybycheck.com - only checks (Used them back in 99' without any problems)

I think it's only for US checkings accounts....

Thanks for the suggestions Elena. We will check paybycheck.com. We have already known about revecom.com.

By the way, how is your experience with revecom.com so far? (others may answer this).

You can see my experience with Revecom in this thread:

Though to be fair, we have not had a problem with billing yet.

Relyc,

Your experience with revecom (phone support) is horrible. If that is me, I would simply tell them to return call.

Anyway, it might have been not your lucky day. We all get that.

Anymore experience on revecom.com? I need a balanced set of opinions to make a sound decision.

If others have a rather more pleasant experience, can I hear you?

Bascially, one can use their bank account number and the bank routing number to pay online and the money is deducted from the customer's bank account and deposited to the merchant's account from what is called as an "Automated Clearing House" network or ACH, monitored and regulated by the Federal Reserve Bank. It is legal in the US and very cost effective. This works well in the US mainly because, people write billions of checks each year (like the old lady at the supermarket queue writing a check for $2.45):stickout

Most systems only apply to US clients. International clients can use the Wire or some other transfer methods but they are expensive.

Here is what I do. I am with 2checkout which does not support checks. But since I am a shareware developer I have an account with v-share.com ( pretty much like swreg.org ) and although they are somewhat expensive ( $3 + 3% ) they do take checks and money orders.

I only allow people paying by checks to signup for a whole year, therefore the somewhat high transaction fee is acceptable.
