Could I sell my bought HSphere licenses ? zsindhu 09-24-2004, 11:04 AM I don't think they allow that. Have you tried mailing them to be sure? roccol 09-24-2004, 11:08 AM Yes you can resell them. I know from experience. anewcomer 09-24-2004, 11:26 AM Normanu, May I ask you why you wanted to switch to another control panel? What don't you like about it? I've heard the new Hsphere version is very good. Thank. Normanu 09-24-2004, 11:34 AM Well I don't really use the complete billing automation feature(I'm from Europe and we work more with banktransfers than creditcards), and because of that the billing part isn't really working for me. Also because of the support I switched to BSD (coming from Debian) and I don't really know BSD as well as I now Debian so I would like to go back to Debian ...... That are the reasons for doubts on my part, on the overall I'm satisfied with Hsphere and it's support. So don't know if I'll change, but was looking at the possibilitie. anewcomer 09-24-2004, 11:43 AM I'm currently evaluating different control panels to so that's why I asked. I've heard that they are working on supporting Debian too, you may want to check with them. How about other features and the interface? Are you happy with those? Is it easy to use for the end user? Thanks Normanu 09-24-2004, 12:41 PM for the end user its great ! It's a very good panel.... Lots of options and features ..... And the pricing is good... Debian release is still gonna take a while I think, they said 6 months ago they where working on it... never heard anything about it since... Normanu 09-24-2004, 12:52 PM Originally posted by roccol Yes you can resell them. I know from experience. How did you do that ? You sold them to some other client and did a name transfer ? Or sold them back to psoft or how ? iseletsk 09-24-2004, 01:29 PM If you have STANDARD license - you can sell it to another client. If the license is less the one year old - the transfer of the license is free. If the license is more then one year old - we charge 20% of the total license fee as the transfer/maintanance fee to transfer it. Normanu 09-24-2004, 01:59 PM Thanks Igor ! Any updates on a Debian release ? anewcomer 09-24-2004, 02:00 PM What do you mean by STANDARD license? How many types of license does Psoft offer? Thanks FHDave 09-24-2004, 02:11 PM two types, Lease and Standard. Lease is if you lease them, e.g. from your providers. Standard is when you own them. |
