Hi all there,
I am from a newly established hosting firm. Please let me know about WHM & ModernBill.
I prefer ModernBill more than WHM. We will use cPanel at our server. Shall we use cPanel/WHM + ModernBill or which one is better?
Can I combine that three to use?
I am sorry if my question is so lame.
Sincerely,
Samuel

Cpanel and WHM is a packaged software. Cpanel for the customers, WHM for you to "manage" the server itself. You will not get Cpanel without WHM.
Modernbill is a billing solution which is able to create accounts on a Cpanel/WHM server.

That depends on what type of learning curve you're comfortable with.
WHM-AP is very easy to setup and configure; simply a straightforward package all the way around.
Modernbill is a bit trickier to configure (we never had problems installing it, though) as there are a lot more options, but the extra options give you greater flexibility to have your billing software do what you like. (I especially like the "clone package" feature :D).
We started out with WHM-AP and are slowly migrating to Modernbill as it has more flexibility and will grow better with our company.
To borrow a phrase - there is no "best" software. There's only the software that's best for you :D ;)

WHMap is easy! MB is a bit complicated. which fits you, go for it.

For expanding business MB is better

Is ModernBill difficult to install/configure/setup?

Not at all, and they can even install it for you for about $49 I think.
The setup is a long process because there are so many options and modules.
It is a great program.
