Actually I think they are now $4.95 & $49.95. They recommend on their site that if you are doing more than 50 transactions to choose the $49.95 SSL cert. But both will do the 128 encryption & handle everything for you. They just recommend the $49.95 cert because it might look a little more professional

basically if the person clicks on the lcok icon & sees Starter - if they do not udnerstand they might not think it is any good. And a few people have heard of Geotrust & think they are a good company
