View Full Version : Best Domain Resellers?
Syphic 09-23-2004, 03:21 AM | Please compare and contrast some of the domain resellers?
I know of:
Wild Wild West with Godaddy
eNom
DirectI
Just trying to get opinions on what people think of each and which they would choose and why...
Thank you |
raqsoft 09-23-2004, 06:58 AM ì'd use the Search (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=) Option on this Forum, so you can find many experiences and discussions about the reseller you said |
dmaven 09-23-2004, 10:21 AM | enom seems to be the most popular within these forums. Directi is also up and coming if they can work through some of the reliability issues. |
Crispy 09-23-2004, 04:37 PM I've used Godaddy for awhile and I have yet to have any problems.

Syphic 09-23-2004, 05:51 PM I have searched these forum and found alot of information about eNom , not alot about goDaddy's, and some about iDirect. Just wanted to get some more straight forward answers. Especially about how much it cost to get eNom. I see it cost 29.95 to buy a domain but have seen quite a few people up here say 8.95. Where can I find the correct information and how much it cost to start up. I also am lookin to find a API for goDaddy's reseller to see if people can custom build thier on front for thier service instead of thier designs. I want to integrate it into my site.
Thank you |
enom display $29.95 on their website to not compete directly with their own resellers.
You can get a free $8.95 enom account from many places, or you can deposit $495 to enom and get this rate directly from them. |
Bashar 09-25-2004, 03:19 AM godaddy and directi they somehow compete with their resellers when it comes to pricing.
i'd go with enom for the great reseller plan they offer and options, pricing starts from $8.95, $7.95 or $6.95 depending on your prepay |
AbsolutelyFreeWeb 09-26-2004, 05:24 AM but godaddy and directi are both cheaper for the customers.. (and for you) you don't just compete with your registrar, you compete with all other registrars and all other resellers... and loss leaders.. |
Syphic 09-26-2004, 03:35 PM Alright, thank you everyone for your comments... This has greatly helped me with my choice of who to go with. By the way could you list some of those cheaper places to get reseller accounts from through enom? |
eSology 09-26-2004, 04:02 PM Take a look through the Offers and Requests thread (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=55) and you will see several free $8.95 reseller accounts listed. |
