What is the domain name? EPP based names such as .info, .us, .biz propagate in just a few hours if not minutes. com net can take a few hours as well. This has nothing to do with domainsite it should take the same with all registrars

Rapid DNS was implemented this month.

Various domains which I register at GoDaddy take from few hours to two days to appear on the Net, for the same extensions. So it is rather not that DomainSite is good, it is controlled by many random aspects.

all gTLDs now propagate within 5 - 10 mins if you don't have any cached non-resolving lookup in your ISPs nameservers.

used to be info/biz/name only but now all of them.

With rapid dns active now by Verisign, it has made the propagation period much more realistic.

Ive noticed, however, that some registrars I am with are still posting that it will take the standard period.

This is my experience:

Rapid DNS -> minutes-2 hours

Old Standard -> 12-72 hours

Some are still doing that becaues they want to play it safe. But it may be because
they're still submitting changes via batches instead of in real time like the biggest
registrars do.

I think there is no one standard. sometimes it takes hours, sometimes it takes days (1-3).

depends on your ISP's cache too
