I think that's what we are all wondering ;) airtime166 01-18-2002, 12:53 PM business dont seem too small , 4000 clients are you tired of the business or what SteeleyDan 01-18-2002, 12:57 PM Personal reasons SteeleyDan 01-18-2002, 12:59 PM $2 million airtime166 01-18-2002, 01:01 PM whats the asking price on this biz what tyoe of server are they hosted on unix/windows type of client base dedicated monthly yearly clients you may want to post a offer in the ad forum and see what type of response you get michaeln 01-18-2002, 01:08 PM what is the average package price of the packages that you have sold? Just curious. Michael cperciva 01-18-2002, 01:10 PM Originally posted by michaeln what is the average package price of the packages that you have sold? This is just a guess... but if he has $2M in annual revenue, and 4000 clients, that would mean an average of $500/year or $40/month per client. Right? michaeln 01-18-2002, 01:15 PM That is about what I figured but it doesn't seem right. It depends, if he has a lot of dedicated, or even complex hosting customers with customized solutions it could be right. DomiNET.net 01-18-2002, 01:25 PM steeleyDan. how to contact you? mediaman 01-18-2002, 01:34 PM I'm very interested in speaking with you about your hosting company. How do I contact you. Thank you. D- jic 01-18-2002, 02:00 PM Dan, Here are possible ways of selling your company. First of all it is a pretty small company to sell but you may want to approach Verio and other places like that with a proposal. Just remember the formula 1 X Yearly Gross == Selling Price OR 3 X Yearly Net Income == Selling Price You may want to jupe it up 5% just to let off the offer a bit with them. If you want to get rid of it real quick I would reccomend the Wall St. Journal. They have a section at the end that offers that kind of stuff. Try those different avenues. Incognito 01-18-2002, 02:12 PM Let's see...he wants to sell....but posts no way of contacting him....makes it very difficult. SteeleyDan 01-18-2002, 04:03 PM We also do some domain name registration and custom design work, which is included in the total. Hosting rates are at market. And that is pretty obvious, because no-one would sell a US$2million business on a message board... spade 01-18-2002, 05:06 PM Originally posted by NicoV And that is pretty obvious, because no-one would sell a US$2million business on a message board... NicoV is right. :) But who knows, maybe someday... Bill Gates comes here and sells Microsoft Corp. on this Mesage Board? LOL  AH-Tina 01-18-2002, 05:15 PM Originally posted by SteeleyDan We also do domain name registration and some development work for clients. $2M+revenue includes all. Hosting is at market rates, $10 - $20 per month You can't really include the design work into the price - unless they are on monthly contracts or something. Otherwise, it will just be "projected" income. Also, is that $2M gross or net? What is the net? If you are seriously looking to sell and have documentation, etc. in order - feel free to contact me at tina@affordablehost.com - we have been looking to take over a company aproximately the same size as us (which it sounds like you are) or smaller. --Tina 311 01-18-2002, 05:49 PM can we have a look at your site? maybe? |
