I have a friend who needs to find someone to change a java script for his website. He is an affiliate of ian.com and has a hotel related website. The site has a script that changes the language of the website when people select it.
The script and stuff is the standard stuff they (ian.com) allow their affiliates to use. The script has a slight problem however in that if someone is on a specific hotel page and uses the script it changes the language but takes them back to the home page. The home page is what the script was developed for. However he has search results that typically have potential clients landing specific hotels, and this becomes a problem if they change the language to suit them after landing on the hotel and then boom they go to the main page.
Anyway, hard to describe and explain here. If anyone has some java script experience and think they would like to look into the job some more please contact us. We need quotes because we dont know what to ask to do this. We did get some basic info from ian.com saying they think it would be easy for us to find someone to fix it to work for our needs, we can get you all the code and show you an example of what is happening and what we want it to do.
Please email or PM your interest and give us an idea of what it may cost. All his money is tied up right now in search engine stuff to promote the site so he is not looking at spending much and we just need a quick and cheap solution hopefully.
