View Full Version : Georgia/Florida ????
tammyhart 09-21-2004, 04:02 PM | I master my church's statewide site, tcogga.org-- The Chruch of God in Georgia. Well, we've recently been made into a region with Florida. I immediately thought, am I going to have to shange the name to tcoggafl? It sounds so dumb... Does anyone have any suggestions? |
nameslave 09-21-2004, 04:17 PM To be honest, tcogga.org already sounds dumb. Of course, thechurchofgod.biz (which is available) is not particularly appropriate, right? :D |
4solutions 09-21-2004, 04:49 PM | Who's going to remember tcoggafl or even tcogga?
How about FloridaChurchofGod. com/net/org/info ?
Or... ChurchofGodFlorida. com/net/info ?
Or... ChurchofGodofFlorida. com/net/org/info ?
Even though it's longer, I believe that people would remember it easier. |
4solutions 09-21-2004, 05:06 PM Hmmmm...
Seeing as how you are expanding. How about taking over the whole region. :D

God Save Me! I feel like putting on Gospel music... :D |
tammyhart 09-21-2004, 08:34 PM no.. those won't work. First of all, our offical name is THE Church of God. Secondly, we're Georgia AND Florida. Thirdly, there are churches in all of southern states. I did suggest tom my overseer that we call ourselves the Gul/Atlantic Region and then the GA would still apply. But That'll be contigient on his approval.
tcogga is more catchy than you think, especially when we're already so used to spilling out "tcog".
Anyways.. thanx for the input. |
