Hello,

I'm just curious how some of you manage reselling enom services to your clients.

I first created a enom account to use with WHMAP, to help me in my hosting site. However WHMAP didn't work to well when someone purchased an account. So aside from my hosting company, i just went ahead and opened a PDQ account. However, in my opinion PDQ sucks, and the layout is just too simple and not eye appealing.

I was just wondering if someone can give me some pointers, on a 3rd party script or something that i can use to resell the enom services. But allowing clients to manage their domain on my site, instead of through the enom site.

I guess either i haven't had enough time to research this fully, or i'm just looking at things the wrong. But i can't seem to understand how to fully utilize the reselling of enom services to my clients.

Thank you in advance your comments, and replies.

Note: For those that don't know WHMAP is WHMAutoPilot.

Let's be straight here. In my opinion, no one will ever retire providing low cost domain name registrations to their customers (at least not with the Vipers and Mercedes' Gull Wings that I want :D).

To me, providing customers with low cost domain name registration is simply insurance to help them from straying to another website.

Bottom line, is that the best combo offer to me is the eNom reseller account with the www.dramsystem.com interface.

But others, obviously, have differing opinions. ;)

dramsystem.com and modernbill.com or whoiscart.net can do the job perfectly

My advice: do not focus on and users, focus on resellers... That's my little secret. :)

i dont sell domains from any website. I don't think is easy or easily profitable considering there are so many resellers/registrars competing in the discount market.

Selling domain names is not an easy business. There is very little profit margin.

However, I agree with zoli... if you concentrate on the reseller market, then you can make a bit more money.

We now have over 1500 resellers under us, and we have concentrated on providing high quality support.. which has resulted in a very good business. Recently, eNom gave us a dedicated account rep which really helps get support issues resolved quickly. But it took a lot of work to get to this point. Selling domains is just another business. You must create a plan, and then drive that plan to completion.

So... I suggest you concentrate on a market segment that can result in growth instead of just selling to the "end-user".
