View Full Version : Steadfastnetworks - they are good.
Chance 09-21-2004, 01:21 PM Hello,
I don't have much experience with them but I can tell you I'm impressed all sales questions answered very very quickly. I've got the server today and they helped me much online via MSN!
Their pings are really great from western europe.
steadfastnetworks: 193
choopa: 192
peer1: 233
theplanet/servermatrix: 243
Also, prices are not high despite of their quality.
I will update this topic later.
By the way, their website is http://www.steadfastnetworks.com/ ;-)
lepricon 09-21-2004, 04:38 PM I agree.. they really looked good.
Network seemed awesome, owner seemd to know his stuff, from reading his comments on the forums.. ONLY thing that shocked me and made me think twice was the fact that they advertise on suprnova.org ..
Adds a shady element to that company.
just my 2 cents..

XtremeBandwidth 09-21-2004, 06:03 PM I've herd many good things about them and would def. recommend them to anyone.
About the suprnova thing, it looks like they just have a small banner on the site but dont provide transit, even if they did, I'm sure they are only providing it to the main page not all the mirrors?
wheimeng 09-21-2004, 06:13 PM They resell for Level3, aren't they?
Chance 09-22-2004, 05:09 PM Yes, they resell for Level3.
KarlZimmer 09-22-2004, 05:42 PM For the low price for the button on Suprnova and the amount of traffic it brings us we felt it was well worth it. We do not host the site, etc. Also yes, we resell Level(3), Savvis, and Abovenet.
XS Solutions 09-24-2004, 08:44 PM Comparing Steadfast as a customer to other companys in the chicago area Its one of the best.. Its amazing for gaming for the reason the network is awsome and pings at least 10ms lower to many areas I have tested then a company known as servercentral.. I havnt had any problems with servercentral other then their price is off the chart compared to steadfast..

cosminb 09-24-2004, 08:51 PM Status of server.server.com virtual private server
Status Unable to get server status
big problem with that company .
KarlZimmer 09-24-2004, 09:10 PM Big problem with the company? We have one VPS server that has been acting up and we have been working on resolving it. Also, why show the load averages? For a system with dual Xeons in HT that is definately acceptable.
Also, right now all the virtual servers on the server with problems are showing as being up, not exactly sure where that status report is from then.
cosminb 09-24-2004, 10:39 PM Hmz . Resolve your problem or buy onther Server becuase you lost your customer .

I'm not sure if its acceptable or not but, my VPS at Defender I get with Dual 2.8ghz Xeons.
