Well, if the order went through, you should have received a confirmation email and your account will be set-up upon approval of payment. Can you please let me know your email address or order ID at marc@mchost.com ? I will look into it for you :)

if you didn't receive a confirmation email when joining the forums, which is fully automated, then there is something wrong with your email address. Please contact me over PM or an alternate email address.

I sent them an email to sales over 24 hours ago and have had nothing back. I judge hosts on speed and this is bad.

Shame, they looked so good!

Thanks Marc I will : )

One question though, instead of hanging out in these forums why not just answer my email?

Waiting...... waiting.......
:uhh:

I'm with MCHost.com and I think from memory that it's a 24hr account setup thing. That's the time when their CC fraud protection has completed the checks on your credit card order. :)

Well i think you could try and wait while MCHOST guys prepares and send your account details...It doesn makes sense having a doubt over your own decisions and letting the world know of it. You just ordered your account yesterday and started having doubts about their service level. MCHOST have got a very good reputation & they must be busy doing all the setup.

I think you could just wait instead of posting here..

I got all the e-mails from the CC company stating I have been billed. Still no account setup information.
It never hurts to send a reminder to the company concerned.

If you want to be really sure, just submit a help desk ticket via helpdesk.mchost.com and I'm pretty sure you'll get your account pronto.

12 hours - 24 hours

Unless there is a SLA in place I would see this as perfectly respectable.

Perhaps its just because in the UK we are more prepared to wait, especially because most US companies are asleep when we send the email

Thanks

Nowadays, ISP Mail Server configurations error are very common.

I have 2~3 friends they did have email problems with some websites hosted by Verio/BurstNet Server.
By tracking down the email logs, we finally found those are their Email Server Configuration problems. The source mail agent(EXIM, in our cases) applys strict checks on the destination mail server, then fails to deliver.

So just provided 2 different email address, if your connection have yet proven to be OK.
