Does anybody know of any vbulletin conversion tools that any other bulletin board has to move from vbulletin to whatever...?

Yes, a vbulletin board to some other board which i really dont care to which, but i was just wondering if there were any boards that provide a converter?

One really nice board is Burning Board and there seems to be some kind of converter

I believe there's a convertor being written for vBulletin to phpbb2..

NB: It's not ready yet so best to just run a search on the forum and see what news there is.

I dont think there is a converter yet...I would love to be able to use phpbb2 but i dont want to lose all the posts and users.

I don't exactly like Jelsoft, but vB is the best forum software out there, hands down, I can't really think of a reason to switch, maybe you can shed some light on that....

Final version is approaching as the major bugs and language packs get integrated so I honestly think the convertors aren't too far behind.

We did do a conversion as a special project but it was very time consuming and expensive. Don't know of any ready made scripts. Basically, we took the database and converted to the format of the database we needed for the other board.

I suggest you post on the forum of the board you would be converting to. For instance, Ikonboard has many posts regarding other conversions and someone might have an answer for you.
