I'm looking for a webhost to replace my current host. I have two months to find this host and to set up my site and ensure reliabilty before my contract ends. Here is what I need:

500-750+ MB of disk space
20+ GIG transfer (real transfer with no small text telling me I can't use the transfer amount offered!!)
multiple domains/subdomains to point to sub-directories
POP & SMTP for multiple domains
100 to unlimited POP Boxes
My own CGI-BIN (wrapper preferred so that I can run scripts for any directory domain/subdomain)
*My own static IP*
100 to unlimited FTP user accounts (wherein I can restrict access to my entire FTP directory!)
full .htaccess control (password protection, customizing error pages, etc)
5+ MYSQL accounts
Perl, C/C++, Java, PHP, Python support
Shell access (SSH or Telnet)
Real Media/Windows Media support
Anonymous FTP
SSI support
5 to unlimited Mailing Lists
PHPMyAdmin
Access to raw logs
bandwidth transfer monitor
Flash/Shockwave support
Web stats
Control Panel
Webmail

RELIABLE UPTIME 99.5-9% GUARANTEE!
Comprehensive Troubleshooting Guide/FAQ
RELIABLE 24/7 TECH SUPPORT!
Honest company (won't try to rip me off)
30 day guarantee (as I don't want to spend all my money finding hosts so that I can't even afford one when I do find the right host for my sites!)
No long term Contracts! (unless I'm given the choice)

A bonus would be a company with ConferenceRoom or IRC client friendly ^_^ but not required.

*Must be on *nix server! So that I can run my perl scripts with embedded C++ code and have sendmail capabilities, plus I don't know how to configure my site on WinNT/2000 servers and I don't have time to learn right now*

I currently pay $35/month for all of this, but my webhost isn't honest. They ripped me off for the month of December, and I'm stuck in a contract so I have to deal with that. ::growls::

Please help me. This board has already helped me a lot, but I still haven't found the host that can suit my needs. I've been testing two hosts, and the one that I thought was the perfect host ended up being a Win2000 only host ;_; and I need a *nix server, plus I had to give up some of my current features for their services.

I'm also very poor, in the middle of moving to a really high-cost city in another country, know nothing about dedicated servers (and don't have time to learn), so *cheap* and reliable shared hosting is preferred!

Again, thank you guys for your help!

forever in WHTF's debt

<<MOD NOTE:>>
Ochiba, I recommend that you allow emails from the forum (as you have) and refrain from posting your email adress directly in post, or your address will be spidered and you will get spam. I've removed it, however feel free to contact me via email/pm and I'll put it back if you want.

Of course I would be paranoid and not post my email, then turn around and post the bloody thing in a place to get spammed. It only makes perfect sense considering the moron I am -_-

BTW, I should apologize to everyone who has tried to help me because, my current trial host has told me that they will be making *nix servers available next week and they'll stick me on it. I like this hosting company and I'd prefer to stick with them. The only reason why I'd cancel the account was because one of my main scripts (that happens to be an entire interactive section of my site) can't run on Win2000 servers.

So, I'm holding my breath until next week ^^; wish me luck. It looks as though I'm finally going to be able to kick CQHost to the curb. And I'm gonna save a pretty penny doing it!

::sniffles:: And I only came in here to gush about my ADDR account, now I've found my dream webhost. Vive le WHTF!
