With hosting directories, I think you should try ads on a bunch of them, webhostingmagazine.com has a list of directories. Start with a small button or something on each of them, and then keep the ones that generate results. The reason being that some directories are good for some companies, but seem to fail with other companies. It's a lot of trial and error.

If you search this forum you'll see that a few people claim success with hostsearch, and a few don't.

Either way, good luck.

Hi, I have a uk based website and i would be reluctant to offer space to anyone from the USA because of speed etc. I have tried the webhostingmagazine site and have also added my listing to a couple of UK sites. Most of the host search sites are .com and have prices is USD do you think it is still worth me adding my listing to these sites?

If your servers are on a quality fast connection then speed should be fine in the US and the UK... List your company everywhere you can, it's good for business :)

Hello there

Looks like hostsearch is a lot better, it's been around longer and more reliable, hostrecord is a new directory, not sure about CTR, traffic over there....

Good luck with your campaign
