We need to map our ever expanding network which consists of more than 5 subnets.. We have been looking for software but cannot find anything "free" that works well.
Any ideas??? Windows / Linux it does not matter it should just map our network in a format we can view / edit / print
Thanks guys..

There are a couple of such projects listed on Sourceforge, and I assume Freshmeat as well. Of course there are a couple windows packages, like Visio, and I'm sure if you head over to tucows, there are a couple lower-scale versions.
But, anyway -- simply doing a search for "network mapping" on sourceforge yielded a few applications (although none looked particularly impressive -- they may do what you need).
