here's the scope: i've got a site and phpBB forums with phpwebhosting.com and honestly they've been good. there's a lot of negative talk about them here, but i've no problems. besides, at $9.95 per month you can't expect dedicated server-like performance!!
but now i have an issue! my server with them is blinkin.phpwebhosting.com. today, their control panel on that server stopped working. it's not me, i had some other friends try to access it, but couldn't.
on their home pages, they say you can only log into the control panel on the server you're on. so that means i have no access. my site continues to run fine, just no control panel.
what's the problem? to request help or get tech support, you need to use the control panel. there is no other way with them. so i couldn't get any help with the control panel!!
i've had to email them on their support email address. problem is, last time i did that it took 2-3 days to get a reply!!!
