OK I have been reading the forums about MCHost and I really am curious. How long have they been in business? Are they as good as people are claiming?
I am a reseller of domain names and have started selling hosting this past year. My current hosting provider (AIT) really has me on the ropes with a big price increase and I am looking for a new reseller plan. MCHost has a couple small drawbacks that concern me. One is no telephone support. Two, there is very little information about the company itself that I could uncover. Any posts would be greatly appreciated.
:spiny:
They're fine, lots of people like them.

I'm currently MChost customer, now before hearing tons of good comments from others, I have tell you, I'm quite disappointed. Their support has been very slow lately, not to mention other minor problems that I have had with them. Ranking them from 1 to 10, my rating to down to 6/10 compare to 8/10 when I first signing up.

It depends. Please don't take this as a criticism. :)
I sent them an email a week ago ( I only sent one question). No reply until today.
I know they will reply me on this thread and say: "Oh, we did not receive your email, could you please send it again.."
So, you are the judge. :)

mchost are great, but they have been having a lot of problems lately - mainly due to an overwhelming number of signups because they were being recommended so highly. As a result, support times have increased, and there have been occasional outages. They need time to get everything working smoothly again.

I really appreciate your replies. I am still doing my homework and hope to sign up with a hosting company within the next week.

Well, I'll leave my two cents on MCHost. One, there customer service to me has always been 100% satisfactory. Most of my support requests are answered within an hour or two.. Others, a few minutes. They have an entire online community of resellers (forum) committed to helping you with any complications. Not only that, Jason@mchost.com releases php programs that include free licensing for all mchost resellers. Such scripts include an auotmated helpdesk (the same one they use) an automated sign up script for your clients etc. I can HONESTLY say I have run into no problems with MCHost that they couldn't resolve in a timely, professional manner. I highly recommend them.
Thanks
**Just my two cents ;) :stickout
