I am trying to modify my name server IP address. Yesterday morning I did the changes and clicked on save changes. I clicked back to see if the changes took place but now I get the message
that says "The domain host information is temporarily unavailable. "

I called up their phone support and they told me it is fixed. I loged back in and I see that my old IP address is still there and no changes has taken place.

I did the changes once again and click save changes. Now I am getting the same message again.

"The domain host information is temporarily unavailable. "

I have waited 13 hours to see if the message change but still no luck.

Is it normal to wait days for an IP change? Last time I had to change the IP it got changed right away!

using RegisterFly/enom i can see the ip address change quickly. The resolve time is longer of course.

It can last 24-48 hours. However, to check that everything is OK do a whois on your domain and you should see new IP addresses for nameservers if your change went well, if not, then there is no point in waiting, you have a problem. Be sure that whois record is fresh, not the cached one.

you always se the "The domain host information is temporarily unavailable" message after an update.. but usually it will show your new info in about a few minutes. the real change through internet can take upto 48 hours..

Thats exactly what I thought. Their data base should show the changes within very short time! It has been 15 and half hours and I am still getting the same message! This is not acceptable.

I called up their phone support and they are simply clueless!

I always liked godaddy but I am slowly being turned off.
