Please read the entire post, but the short version:
19.99/mo (no setup)
15 GB storage
250 GB monthly transfer
100 mbps uplink
Reseller/cPanel/Fantastico

Well, most resellers know what they are doing and just need the host to provide a server that works properly. At Nocturnal Hosting, we decided to provide just that - the account and very limited support (aka, best effort) beyond making sure that the server is up and running properly.

If you happen to not need phone support to ask questions about where to upload files and understand how cPanel hosting and reseller accounts works, you might want to give us a try.

We are currently offering only one Reseller package, using WHM AutoPilot as the billing system, with PayPal as the only payment processor. Our servers are Dual Processor Xeons with 2 GB RAM and RAID harddrives.

Support is not guaranteed, turn around time for non-server issue related TTs is not guaranteed (turnaround time for a network/server issue isn't guaranteed either, but we do have a 99% uptime guarantee). No shell access, no fancy toll free numbers to call, no fancy support email accounts (well, there is one).

Now that you've read the "fine print first", here is the package that we are offering:

No Setup Fee. 19.99/month (or less if pre-paid).

Reseller package with 15000 MB Web Space, 250000 MB Transfer, Unlimited FTP Accounts, Email Accounts, Email Lists, mySQL Databases, Sub Domains, Parked Domains, and Addon Domains. The only thing you don't get is shell access! Even better, this is cPanel with Fantastico!

Although we do not offer a "money back guarantee" we are more than happy to extend one to any WHT members, just mention this forum post in a cancelation request and we will refund your money.

So, that's about it - we thought it was a good deal and the basic website we setup has a download file so you can test our download speeds. Of course, if we have a ton of people sign up all of a sudden we will need to pull new orders until we allocate additional servers - but that's probably too optimistic.

Of course, we don't really provide pre-sales advice either - but the server is cPanel/Fantastico/RH Enterprise - if thats enough to help you decide, great, if not, we appologize for wasting your time.

Is spamassassin enabled on your reseller accounts?

Thanks.

Spam Assassin is part of cPanel, although it is not activated by default - to activate it one would just need to log into cPanel, select mail, then spam assasin, and can then activate and configure it.

It is interested to see one who offers 'limited' support. Geez!

Thanks for your answer. I understand what you are saying about each user enabling Spam Assassin in cpanel. I once signed up for a reseller hosting package and Spam Assassin was disabled Server Wide. Apparently the host was concerned about the resources used by Spam Assassin. Because of this experience, I now ask about Spam Assassin up front.

Many people, including myself, realize the value and utilize Spam Assasin -- but I realize others do not or else do not know how to tweak Spam Assassin to get maximum benefit from it.

Thanks again.
