Have any of you had any experiences with their reseller hosting?
a) what's their support like
b) downtime?
c) features, full usability?
d) anything else you can think of

I've never had any personal experience with them, so I cannot say, but I was hoping for some feedback. I'm with surpasshosting.com, and am well, nothing but dissatisfied. :(

Did a quick basic check on icanahost.com

Domain created on 24-8-2004
Google search show significant ebay results
Visiting the site reveals its 247-host.com (The whois record of 247-host.com has good amount of-----)

So know you need to search for 247-host.com

BTW: I was just able to locate one thread on 247-Host:

Wish you all the best for hosting hunt.

Just to add my 2c.

iCanaHost was 247Host which was 247ExpertHost.

I bought an eBay package from them which went AWOL after a week or so. It was due to a name change on their DNS or something.

I had a long fight over 3 weeks or so to get my 30 day refund from them. They did refund the payment but I was left with the impression of a poorly organized outfit probably overselling like crazy and with no clear vision or business plan.

Good luck with them.

My impression is that you can sometimes get good deals on ebay from hosting 'companies' that are just starting out and looking to quickly build a customer base. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes they fail.

I think it's just a matter of chance...they have 100% positive feedback on eBay. But those prices still have me confused, and I'm not sure if they'll stay up too long. Also, When you click on reseller hosting, it leads to 247-host.com. lol.

They claim they are a different company but when you click on links they take you to 247 host website.

i have had an account with icanahost for a few months, bought off ebay. they were down the other day claimed the data center had run out of memory. tried to change to 247 host . took my money but nothing since.

I have a very bad experience with icanahost! :(

I bought a web hosting plan through ebay with it
It provided very unreliable web hosting service and poor customer support.

Hope this help.

I get this reseller package @ ICana - and when they had lack of space on the disks they delete a one of my bigger accounts with 900 MB of photos without any notice..

I think that they selling >100 "unlimited" accounts at single server with two 120 GB disks and Xeons 2,8 because home and tmp is always nearly full, and sometimes average loads are bigger than 20,00-30,00 ("ICanaHost standard" are 5,0-6,0..).

Eh.. Price = quality. That's awful ;) true.
