Hi,
I'm looking for a hosting package that allows for the following:
1) unlimited pop3 e-mail accounts
2) webmail interface allowing site visitors to create and manage their own account instead of having webmaster to manually do this
3) unlimited bandwidth
4) 30MB diskspace
5) CGI/mySQL/PHP
-----OR------
1) unlimited bandwith
2) webmail interface allowing site visitors to create and manage their own account instead of having webmaster to manually do this
3) large disk space to store e-mail account info. preferably something between 1-5GB
5) CGI/mySQL/PHP
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

You definitely do not want unlimited transfer :D
There is almost always something in the terms and conditions, limiting you on how much unlimited transfer you can have.
Please search the forum for 'unlimited' and you will see what I mean. Please think realistically on how much data you need, then look around.

Really? I just never see them having any fine print. I mean if it's really really really high than that's another story. But I'm referring to things that are less than 10GB/month.
The most important thing is the webmail option.

Are you talking about running a free e-mail service a la Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail? There are no hosting services that I know of that offer this type of thing. A free e-mail service is really not appropriate for a shared hosting environment, and I think most hosting services would frown upon this type of thing because it attracts spammers. You may want to look into something like everyone.net (http://www.everyone.net) to provide your e-mail service, and host your main site with whatever host fits your needs and budget.

Hello,
Actually, someone at W3Host already allowed me to do that for $20.00/month (discount for one year contract). They just have a lower monthly limit.
Is it more worthwhile to use co-location, or dedicated hosting? I have a feeling that the hosting companies are making off the computers too with dedicated hosting. What is the cheapest price you have heard of with dedicated hosting that allows a good 5-10GB/month?
