I need to make some ads and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some animation software that I could look into that would help me in making ads. I don't need to do any hardcore animating, just simple text/image popups, you know.

And I don't want cheapo software like MS GIF Animator. :D

There's not a lot inbetween the "cheapo" software, and the expensive good programs. Personally I use and recommend Adobe Image Ready for animations.

Animation Shop that comes with Paint Shop Pro is fairly good. I don't have a great deal of experience with alternatives, but I've certainly found it to be decent.

Do you have ImageReady? You can always use that, it's simple, but it gets the job done for me.

I have both ImageReady and Animation Shop. I've never used ImageReady, but I have used Animation Shop and I thought it was o.k. I'll check out ImageReady, thanks for the suggestions.
