Im thinking of getting a domain and so far ive found that: http://www.webmanixhosting.com/ is the best deal and price that ive found. But i havent heard anything about that hosting company. Ive emailed them with questions, but i want to know what you've head about them.

I smell an unlimited amount of storage space on that Premium Unix 2 plan! And those W2K plans are even worse! They are all unlimited! What a sickening vile website. Makes me think of the time my cat barfed up bile all over the floor. Geez what an awful though. Unlimited man! What were they thinking unlimited. That's crazy talk! That is just wrong! Man, I gotta go vomit. Unlimited! Ha!

lol okay they have unlimited brandwith on their other plan, but i just want the cheapest they have there :S ive asked them about uptime, they said: "no there is no guarantee uptime because there is never a guarantee by any server in any company. We feel that if we put that up it would be deceptive as it is a ploy by a lot of companies. You will notice all companies advertise a 99.9% uptime.... all of them .. blah blah" so is web manix hosting good?!?

Just stay off that unlimited one. :angry: :angry: :angry:

Do not use them..

They change server hard drives once a month and dont even tell you. and they dont back up your site either.

I have just got an email saying that they setup some of my accounts again so i went to there site and see that there changing HD again, as you can see for your self, they said there doing it 10th Feb Today is 01-10-2003 you will have one month to back up your info. We will then swap out the hard drive and put our accounts back on it.

Also uptime on my sites is about 60%, I have submited so many support tickets about sites going down (they go down alot), They deleted accounts saying that I owe money which they were wrong, they delete accounts at free will,
They have also told me that they will no longer support me and deleted my support login becasue they cannot give any striaght answers.

This company as cost me 1000's of $'s and this you should stay clear of it and anyone else wanting to go there. they may have cheap prices but is it worth all the assel (Nope!).
