Mods/anyone who used a top banner option.

How long does a 1,000 banner impression is used up in a specific forum, Templages/Graphics Offers and Requests (on the average)?

Does this exclude people who use software that prevent banner ads from showing?

An idea on this will be very much appreciated.

consul, here at WHT I'm pretty certain that banners are global.
i.e. they're displayed no matter where the user is.

You can always choose to have them leaked out over the month. It depends though, WHT gets 1000 page impressions at least every hour at the slowest times, busy times I'd imagine its a LOT more than that. I know that I can browse as many as 100 pages myself in a matter of 10 - 20 minutes. Thats whilst I'm doing work at the same time. So 1,000 straight impressions wouldn't last 10 minutes. It all depends on how you purchase them.

Any way you look at it, anything less than 100,000 impressions won't make much of a dent here at WHT. At least 10,000 every month for a year I'd say would generate enough interest, as people will continuously see your ad.

If you choose the forum-specific option in "MyInet" then you can choose out of the available forums.

This will show your banner in that forum alone.

1k impressions is not available, but 10k is, at $250.

Simon, Yep. I am aware of forum-specific top banner. Thanks. I was wondering how long will the 1K impression last because I was considering that $250 for a 10K impression.

If anyone has an experience doing it forum-specific, would you like to share how long did your ad last?
