Does NetSol charge a fee to transfer my domain to another registrar? I remember hearing about this, but I just talked to 'Jessica' (real name: George) @ netsol.com and they said No! I asked them if they were, quote, "100%, no strings attached, bet the farm sure" and they said yes. Are they right, or is there a crazy fee? I would just go ahead, but it is not possible to copy paste from the chat window. And the window closes automatically when the chat is ended. VERY SUSPICIOUS. Anyway! Is there a fee, or not?

There is no fee to transfer away from NetSol. Just make sure you are not trying to do it within 10 days of your domain expiring, or it may get hung up.

The last ones I transferred took 21 days - without any problems that needed to be addressed in the admin email or authentication records. They just seemed to sit in each of the transfer stages for a long time.

21 days is not normal, but it does happen.

Nope.

The nameservers don't change until you actually change them, so the webserver isn't effected by a transfer of domains between registrars.
