I submitted payment about 2 or 3 days ago and then filled out the supplemental form that it took me to.

Anyway, I still haven't had my space setup. I got an email from them saying I hadn't filled out the form, but I know I had. I did it again and I am awaiting another reply.

I saw some of the features on their site are disabled, are they upgrading or something?

I am a verified PayPal member and went through their pages in order to send the payment.

Kind of pisses me off since the delays had already costed me and looking for another host may f*ck me. Ugh.

I know I've pointed this out before, but the following made me very suspicious of 8Host in the beginning (and it turns out I was right to be):

Everything about their web site just seems a little bit odd, and their prices have that "too good to be true" feeling about them.

It's nothing wrong with the statement.

I projected that the wireless applications will generate 100 Billion dollars next year. That doesn't mean I will get 100 billion dollars.

The statement appears to say that THEY are expecting THEIR OWN hosting revenue to increase to 75 billion by 2005. That may not have been the intention, but to me, it appears like they are saying that.

If they are that stupid to project they will have that kind of revenue, saty away from it, because it's simply a lie.

But I think my interpretation is right.

Affective within a month, '8HOST' will be discontinuing its web hosting service.

'8HOST' is officially no longer operational, however all accounts will remain active until one month from this notice (16th February 2002).

For people who have paid beyond this date, refunds will be given for the remainder. If '8HOST' need to contact you, '8HOST' will contact you via your 'PayPal' e-mail address.

'8HOST' will follow the terms of service through and provide the web hosting service to present customers for 1 (one) calendar month longer..

It's Effective, but whatever. I had my subscription cancelled and I assume I'll get some money back...

Like they say, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is...

From their statement it seems like no-one are being ripped off and they are doing the decent thing.

Well, I honestly couldn't fathom the pricing. Not when you know they're on RackShack servers.

Let's face it, they were selling hosting cheaper than I am, and I've cut it to the bone to sell for what I do! I could not figure out any way to do it cheaper and match their pricing. I simply couldn't make their pricing work for me, because I desperately wanted to match them in pricing (I lost at least 2 customers to them) and I simply couldn't match it.

Well... This one went faster the 8mhosting... lol
