how many cases of fraud do each host get every month? Is it a big issue?

Not saying all orders were fraudulent, but it weas more cost-effective to eliminate all orders from those countries than spend the time to weed out the valid ones. I saw another post not too long ago listing a great deny from list of ips you can add to your .htaccess. I've had one problem, Billpoint, stolen card, blah blah ate $160 on that one. 90% of my customers (well maybe 80) pay through Paypal, I have yet to have a single problem. The others use either mail in checks/mo's or Orderbutton.net I have yet to have 1 chargeback with them either. They keep your money a minimum of one month (EEERGH) so I guess that's plenty of time for chargebacks. |
