okay i signed up for a dedicated server on Friday and i haven't received yet... which is understandable with all the stuff that was beyond their grasp. although i have tried to call the support hotline.. during their business hours mind you, and got nothing but a prerecorded MSG. so then i try to go on their ventrillo server for some questions.. hey cant connect to that either. So then i decided maybe a ticket will work... (and i submitted this yesterday afternoon)
received nothing not even a preexistent response.
Very lackey coustomer support... haven't been able to play with the server yet, so i cant really comment on that... but so far i have to give it, :(
I will post more on this thread later.

they have problems because the hurricane Francis damaged their office I think!

Is this nothing more then speculation? As far as i know Tomsyer has not released any information to the public about any of this.

It said nothing about damaged offices just that they were closed. and im realy not agravated that my server is not up and operational. Only thing that agravates me is thier lack of communication.

Did you receive an automatic reply from submission of the trouble ticket? If you didn't, check to see if your e-mail works or if you put in the right e-mail address because there's supposed to be an automatic reply to trouble tickets.

Also, you should've done a bit more research in Tomsyer. They're used because of their prices, but frowned upon because of their reputation of slow support and EXTREMELY slow setup times (this is all from reading, none from experience - so I can't confirm anything).

It took me almost 3 weeks to get a block of 8 IPs :eek:
