How do i do a partial refund via 2checkout? the refund bit seems a bit confusing? can i do a partial refund?

how would i do a full refund?

i am unsure how to use them in this aspect since it is our first refund. This is a recurring order by the way.

in the list of recurring sales activity, click the name of the client and it lets you refund whatever number of installments you want.

So If they have signed up for just one month and I wish to refund that 1 month I simply enter 1?

You can only refund full installments.

I'm glad someone asked about this - since I'm looking for a credit card processor myself, I decided to ask this very question to 2checkout. Here's the response I received from Kristin at 2checkout. Looks like you CAN do a partial refund, but you need to EMail them to handle it for you:

Partial refunds must be done utilizing our staff as merchants only have the ability to cancel the full order.

Simple submit an email request with the order number and the amount and reason for the partial return and we'll be happy to take care of it on your behalf.
