Hi there,
I have 3500$ and I want to spend it for marketing. The thing is that I really can't guess how many people will sign up for my hosting services. Can somebody give me rough figures. I really need at least some kind of data. I'm thinking about 60-70 signups total(all for the lowest 10$ package). What do you think?

This is a very rough estimate from my past experiences but for a $10 dollar package, using a very optimized google adwords campaign with lots of keywords, I would expect to be paying about 20-40 dollars per client on average. And some of those will go yearly or higher up plans. But of course, everyone has their own opinion/experiences on adwords.

It's perfectly logical to assume that your average client will cost you x amount of dollars. However, keep in mind the following factors:
1) Not every place you advertise in will yield results.
2) Those sources that do work, need tweaking and experimentation before you will start to convert most effectively. In order words, at first each client may cost you $90, but as you find out what techniques work and which do not, you may be able to bring it down to $60 or so.

so it can be anywhere between 20-90.
Well if it is above the 60 I will be out of business. So wish me luck.
