We chose Helm due to the lower cost, but considered Plesk initially.

I have customers using HELM, Plesk, and Hosting Controller on Windows servers and I haven't really heard any complaints about any of them. However, I would suggest using whichever control panel is tested and most compatible with the applications you will be using. You can find more information on these control panels at these sites:

www.hostingcontroller.com (http://www.hostingcontroller.com)

www.helm.webhostautomation.com (http://www.helm.webhostautomation.com)

www.sw-soft.com (http://www.sw-soft.com)

Check out http://www.helmtastic.com for cheaper licensing prices as well. They have provided great support and help to us when needed.

Have you used their "Toolbox" for Helm?

I think that it is still in BETA? Not too sure, but looking forward to it. It sounds pretty sweet. I honestly get lost at all the extra things that they are doing over there as well as the updates. I wished there was a place to review to see what new things are happening, etc.

Still in beta, but just wondering if anyone else gave it a try. Does sound great though!
