one of the things i dont offer right now is SEO/Internet marketing. i resell another local company's services for that - problem is that although they are highly effective, they are very expensive for my smaller "mom and pop" clients.

so can someone point me to some resources for getting started in internet marketing - either good books or online tutorials - so i can begin to learn the art.

and also does anyone know of some "down & dirty" but effective methods that can be used for clients on a really tight budget?
